THE BRAND
Between the end of the 1800s and the early 1900s, our great-grandparents, in the Sant'Eufemia Lamezia Valley, planted an exceptional example of "Carolea" olive monoculture, which after a few years of hard work, great passion and love for agriculture, they began to produce an Extra Virgin Olive Oil with extraordinary qualities for those times...
Even today, after four generations, we continue to cultivate the same lands inherited from our ancestors, producing excellence with unique characteristics, thanks to the geographical position of Calabria in the Mediterranean Sea.
Here, from our roots the brand "MANCUSO1976" was born, for the promotion in the world of "excellence to enhance the beauty of Calabria and Italy", strictly "Made in Italy", because in Calabria (land between two seas), the story of the MANCUSO family begins, which with passion and love for work carries on this important legacy.
Looking forward without ever forgetting the past, our origins that made Calabria and Italy great... this is the motivation that fuels us every day!
EXTRA VERGIN OLIVE OIL
Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a product of excellence, appreciated throughout the world for its organoleptic qualities and health benefits. It is grown in regions with a Mediterranean climate, where olives can ripen best.
The production process begins with the manual harvesting of the olives, to ensure that only the best fruits are used. Subsequently, the olives are ground and cold pressed to preserve all the nutritional properties and authentic flavour.
